Measuring to Govern Impact

For Pattern Group, the Responsible Management of Environmental Impacts begins with an essential principle: systematic measurement as the basis for informed decisions and targeted interventions. The Group’s environmental approach is integrated into control, planning, and performance evaluation processes and has been summarized in the ESG Strategic Plan 2025–2030. The Group’s stated objective is to achieve 100% electricity from renewable sources by 2027 and to bring the Intensity Index of the entire Group to zero regarding indirect emissions.

In line with the concept of “systematic measurement,” Pattern has internally developed an ESG Platform dedicated to the Collection, Management, and Analysis of Environmental Data. The system enables the calculation of the carbon footprint according to the GHG Protocol, including Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions for all Group sites, as well as Scope 1 and Scope 2 impacts of the main subcontractors. This allows for a consistent, comparable, and progressively expanded assessment of the environmental footprint along the value chain.

The availability of structured and traceable data supports the definition of emission reduction strategies, energy efficiency improvements and consumption optimization, enabling measurable and gradual action on the main impact drivers.

Environmental analysis also guides industrial and planning choices toward circular economy models, promoting waste reduction, material recovery, and the extension of product life cycles, in collaboration with industrial partners and supply chain stakeholders.

In the management of hazardous substances within the supply chain, Pattern adopts the protocol outlined by the ZDHC (Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals) foundation, established in 2011 with the aim of providing brands and all players in the textile, apparel, and footwear sectors with a global and unified standard for the responsible management of chemical substances.
